Speaking to Mario Nawfal, US ambassador to Turkey Tom Barrack said that Israel continues to occupy the Golan Heights in Syria, contrary to UN resolutions and international consensus affirming Syrian sovereignty.
Barrack’s comments come after Nawfal asked whether he believes Israel would annex Lebanese territory.
