পরে আন্দোলনকারীরা আবার একজোট হয়ে ঢাকা ভার্সিটির শিক্ষার্থীদেরকে ধাওয়া করেন এই দাওয়ার মধ্যে রাত বারোটার দিকে পুলিশে সেখানে অবস্থান নিয়ে সাউন্ড গ্রেনেড নিক্ষেপ করে। কিছুক্ষণ পরে ঘটনাস্থলে বিজিবি মোতায়ন করা হয়। সাত কলেজের শিক্ষার্থীরা জানান তারা ঢাকা কলেজের উপাচার্যের সাথে দেখা করেন এবং সেখানে তাদেরকে অপমান করা হয়। তারা ৫ দফা দাবি নিয়ে আলোচনা করতে গেলে আলোচনা করা হয়নি এবং তারা দুঃখ প্রকাশ করেন। পরে দেখা গেল ঢাকা কলেজের প্রো বিসি দুঃখ প্রকাশ করেছেন কিন্তু ঘটনার সমাধান করেননি। ঘটনাস্থলে বরাবরের মতো বৈষম্য বিরোধী ছাত্র আন্দোলনের কাউকে না কাউকে তো যেতেই হতো এবং সেখানে গিয়ে হাজির হলেন বৈষম্য বিরোধী ছাত্র আন্দোলনের অন্যতম সমন্বয়ক হাসনাত আব্দুল্লাহ।

Later, the agitators united again and chased the students of Dhaka University at around 12 midnight and threw sound grenades at the police. BGB was deployed to the spot after a while. Students of seven colleges said they met the vice-chancellor of Dhaka College and were insulted there. When they went to discuss the 5-point demand, it was not discussed and they expressed regret. Later it was found that Pro BC of Dhaka College expressed regret but did not resolve the incident. As always, someone from the anti-discrimination student movement had to go to the spot and Hasnat Abdullah, one of the coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement, appeared there.
