Our village is located on the banks of the Yamuna River, the beauty of the Yamuna River always attracts us, but this Yamuna River was once a cause of fear for people, during the rainy season, the Yamuna River used to cause widespread erosion, many people's houses and lands have been destroyed by the erosion of the Yamuna River, many have lost their houses and lands and become destitute, but now the Yamuna River no longer has that terrible appearance.

A dam has been built to protect the Jamuna River, due to which the erosion of the Jamuna River has stopped, no one will be able to recognize the current Jamuna River that it was once a very big and dangerous river, because the river has almost stopped due to sand banks in the middle and on both sides of the river, although some parts of the river can be seen during the rainy season, but currently due to sand banks in the middle and on both sides of the river, farmers are cultivating there.

The Jamuna River is one of the largest rivers in our Bangladesh, the depth and width of this river was very high, we have read a lot about this Jamuna River in textbooks, there were once very big waves and strong currents in this river, but now those waves and currents are not seen in the river, now the water of the river is stagnant in one place, although some waves and currents of the river can be seen during the rainy season.

Many people live on that side of the Jamuna River, they cross the river by boat, currently due to low water in the river, they have difficulty crossing the river, only a small space has to be crossed by boat, and many people used to fish from inside the river by boat, due to the current lack of water in the river, the boats are tied to the banks of the river, currently these boats are no longer used, and when there is a lot of water in the river, these boats will be used for people to cross and fish.

Even if there is no water in the river at present, the availability of the river will fascinate anyone in the country, because there is a little water in the middle of the river and various crops are being cultivated on its side, due to the crops, green fields can be seen next to the river, and many birds sit in the middle of the river to catch fish, it is very nice to see such a beautiful view of the river, since our house is near the Jamuna River, we sometimes go to the river bank, we are fascinated by the beautiful view of the river.
