Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barkatuhu.
Dear friends, I hope you are all well and healthy by the great mercy and grace of Allah. I am also well and healthy by your prayers and the infinite mercy of Allah Almighty.
In the present world, there has been unprecedented progress in technology, education, medicine and economy. But along with this progress, humanity is gradually shrinking. A time has come when the value of human life is decreasing in many areas and people are losing their lives due to murder, terrorism, political violence, crime, revenge and illegal activities in different countries. Many describe this situation metaphorically as "killing people like birds". That is, human life has become so unsafe that even for minor reasons, lives are being taken away. This is one of the biggest social and humanitarian crises of the present time.
Humans are the best creation on earth. Islam, human rights and international law have all given the highest dignity to human life. Allah Almighty says in the Holy Quran, "Whoever kills a person unjustly, it is as if he has killed all mankind; and whoever saves a life, it is as if he has saved all mankind." (Surah Al-Ma'idah: 32). This verse shows how precious the life of an innocent person is. Ultimately, human life is priceless. The loss of an innocent life is an irreparable loss not only to a family, but to the entire society. Therefore, dialogue should be established instead of violence, justice should be established instead of revenge, and humanity should be established instead of hatred. Through the effective role of the state, the rule of law, moral education, social awareness and the collective efforts of all, it is possible to build a society where every person can live safely and with dignity. Protecting the dignity of human life is not only the moral and human responsibility of the state, but also of every citizen.
