Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah.

A lot can be achieved if you maintain your integrity. :-

A person who maintains his integrity will be able to achieve many things in life. And whoever rejects honesty, no matter how clever he is, will eventually stumble. Maybe we can get something for a short period of time but it doesn't last long, so it is very important for us to maintain integrity.

See how far honesty takes people, a rich man in a certain village, who lacked nothing, money, happiness and peace was his everything. Yet there was only one sorrow in his mind that he had no heir, that is, he had no children. So the man thought that when we die, who will see our wealth and who will take it? So they both suggested we get a foster son. That will be our successor.

It was then announced in the village that we would adopt a son as our heir. After hearing this, all the boys including the poor dukha of the village were brought by their mothers to the rich man's house. The rich man put some seeds in a pot, and asked all the boys to take one seed from here. Take it home and plant it carefully, the one whose tree grows the most will be made the heir.

As the rich man said, all the boys went home with one seed each. And everyone planted the seeds in one top. But a little boy who is the child of the poor, also planted his seed in a top and started taking care of it. But the sad thing is that all the boys' tops started to grow trees but that poor boy's tops were not sprouting. The boy began to take more care but as time went on he passed away for about a few months. In this way six months passed but no seedling was emerging from the seed.

After 6 months when everyone went to the rich man's house, it was seen that big work came out of everyone's top. But that poor boy has yet to grow a tree from the top. So the boy felt very ashamed, and he stood back with his mother on the other side. All the boys started laughing at him. Because everyone's trees have grown, but the seeds planted by that little boy have not yet sprouted.

Then the rich man said stop laughing. This boy, my heir, heard this and all the boys and his mother became angry. Because he said he would inherit the one whose tree grew the most. But now it is doing the opposite. Just then the rich man said, I did not give you any seeds but small stones. But when the seedling was not coming out of the top, you yourself changed it and planted another seed.

The rich man then let the boy and his parents stay in his house and made them members of his family.

So it was understood that everything can be achieved by honesty but nothing can be achieved by cunning. However, what is achieved by cunning does not last long. But what is achieved with honesty, though less in amount, brings a different kind of satisfaction. May Allah Ta'ala grant us all the grace to follow the path of life with honesty, Ameen.
